G'MiX - The official Pizzicato five model
The official Pizzicato 5 models once again reasserts the G-SHOCK and Baby-G as trendsetters in the world of music and fashion. Color schemes and the layout of the engravings on the back case were directed by Pizzicato 5 member Yasuharu Konishi. The Baby-G G’MIX models come with three Pizzicato 5 tunes built in: “The Night Is Still Young,” “Baby Portable Rock,” and “A new Song,” a new number written by Yasuharu Konishi especially for this new series. Turning on the EL backlight of each watch displays the logo of the Pizzicato 5, and models are available in Pizzicato 5 orange, as well as blue and white.

Pizzicato Five
Since their debut in 1985, Pizzicato Five has released a total of 10 albums in Japan. The group hit the international scene in 1991, and provided soundtrack cuts for films like Robert Altman’s 1994 film “Ready to Wear”, one of which was selected as Single of the Year by the Village Voice. Pizzicato Five has had their music featured in five different American movies, and the group’s concerts have been consistently sold out since their first world tour in 1995. Pizzicato Five is a musical “Tour de Force” whose success is based on an ability to create highly infectious space-age dance music for the 90’s.
